Oil Tank Service for your Home from Universal Applicators

The technicians at Universal Applicators
are happy to meet you at your tank site and discuss your goals and time frames. Every site is different, and we can present options for cost-effectiveness while having your project completed in a timely manner.
We have completed projects with tanks under sidewalks, tanks under wooden decks and concrete patios, tanks in garages, basements and crawlspaces. In the course of our work, we have replaced walkways and rebuilt decks.

If your home has a pending sale, we can arrange for payment to come out of escrow at closing (with a maximum of 45 days). If your house is on the market with no pending sale, we can usually schedule the work to begin in the future on a shorter notice.
If contamination is found in the soil through sample collection and laboratory analysis, we are required to notify the Oregon or Washington state agency. We will notify you of this as well as discuss cleanup options.
UAI routinely performs:
- Tank locating services
- Certification of previous decommissioning (where there is no report to the state or record that work had been completed)
- Tank decommissioning in place (pea gravel, other inert material or cement slurry)
- Tank decommissioning by removal (above and below ground tanks)
- Tank installations (above (see picture) and below ground)
- Contaminated soil investigations and cleanups (as needed)
- Tank cleaning and fuel line clearing (when tank sludge accumulates and is pulled into the intake line)
- Fuel line set repair or replacement (clogged beyond clearing or replacing older black iron pipe)
- Temporary tank installation (to keep your heat on during tank replacement or other work)
